How The Phonak Roger BaseStation Works – Covert Communication
The Phonak Roger BaseStation should ideally be placed in the center of the area to be covered. Walls, metallic elements and human bodies are obstacles, which could reduce the transmission range so placement is very important. The Roger BaseStation is extremely flexible and can be used standalone, mounted in a rack, or mounted on a wall by using the accessories included. The typical coverage range is 15-40 meters (49-131 ft), depending on environment. Note that human bodies and obstacles may reduce this distance.
